Religious Education Ministries provide a variety of learning experiences for the Parish, Christian Life, Spiritual, Educational and Religious Formation. While many ethnic groups and cultural experiences will be presented will be presented, the primary commitment will be to exposure and learning about the African -American culture and contribution to Christianity.

First Communion Preparation
Holds religious classes every Saturday morning from September through May helping our children, ages 5 through 11, in public grade schools learn about our Catholic Faith.

Youth Ministry
Youth Ministry is a ministry to the youth in our community. Youth Ministers reach out to the youth and their parents in our parish community. ALL Youth, 13-18 years old, are invited and encouraged to join the Youth Group for prayer, service, and fun. Confirmation Classes
Every two years young adults are prepared to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Classes are held immediately after Sunday Mass from January through May.
Council of Catholic Women
The Council of Catholic Women (CCW) is a group of women who come together to pray, fellowship, and care for the spiritual needs of one another. CCW members strive to care for the poor, the sick, and the home bound. CCW Communion Sunday is the first Sunday of the month. RCIA – Catachumenate
The Rite of Christian Initiation is the process of inquiring and deciding to become a Catholic Christian. The RCIA Committee is responsible for the selection of sponsors, catechists and other persons necessary for this ongoing process in the parish. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Children is the same process as for adults except it is geared to children to become full members of the Catholic Church.
